Exhibit A: the monthly number.

The line items don't survive daylight.

Same job — business calls answered reliably — priced six ways. Prices are each vendor's typical per-user range*; support is what you get when something breaks at 4:55 on a Friday.

Per-user platform fee dollars per user, per month
Vox Tandem
none
Nextiva
$20–$45
8×8
$25–$55
RingCentral
$30–$50
Vonage Business
$39.99 + $10/mo per local number
Microsoft Teams
$15–$57 + Office 365 + management

Ours is a flat platform line quoted per business, so adding the tenth person does not move it. Every other row on this chart multiplies by headcount.

ProviderPer user / monthWhen you need help
Vox Tandem Flat, itemized — no per-user platform fee US-based team — the person you reach can resolve your issue, no escalation
Nextiva $20–$45 In-house team, multiple service tiers
8×8 $25–$55 Self-help, chat, or non-US call center
RingCentral $30–$50 US-based support only for 50+ user accounts
Vonage Business $39.99 + $10/mo per local number Self-help portal or call center
Microsoft Teams $15–$57 + Office 365 + management Long waits, multiple escalations

*Estimates from a standardized comparison; a traditional 3-employees-per-SIP-channel ratio assumed. Every feature we sell is included at our price — attendant, queues, recording, apps, texting, video. With us there's also no per-user platform fee at all: see how our pricing actually works.

Fair to ask anybody. Us included.

Five questions worth asking every vendor on your list

None of these are on a pricing page, and all of them are answerable before you sign. Put them to us in the same email you send everyone else — we would rather be chosen on the answers than on the headline.

  1. What is the price in month 13?

Introductory rates end. Ask what the number becomes, and what notice you get before it changes.

  2. Which of the features we just demoed are on this tier?

Attendants, queues, call recording and reporting are routinely split across plans. Price the tier that has what you were shown, not the one on the billboard.

  3. Who picks up at 4:55 on a Friday, and where are they sitting?

Ask whether that person can fix it themselves or has to escalate — and whether US-based support depends on how many seats you buy.

  4. What does it cost to add a person, a number, or a second location?

Growth is the expensive part of a per-user plan. Get the marginal cost in writing, not the starting one.

  5. If we leave, what happens to our numbers?

Your main line is on your vehicles and your front door. Ask who releases it, how long a port out takes, and what it costs.

The difference you can't put in a table.

Before the install, we discuss how you want the system set up and review all options. We work with your MSP or IT team on the network and firewall, coordinate port and install dates, and keep making your changes after — adding employees, updating routing, changing hours. That's the product.

Put us in your comparison.

Send the quotes you've collected — we'll price the identical setup line by line, and tell you honestly if someone else fits better.
